Prodigal Hospitality

Jonah is not just a story about giant fish swallowing a man. It's a story about God. And more specifically, it's a story about God's relentless pursuit of grace towards us as we run from Him.In this sermon, we learn that biblical hospitality is gracious, giving, and extravagant, not just towards those we love, but towards outsiders. The word "prodigal" means "wasteful" or "spending lavishly." We are to spend without discrimination the grace and mercy God has given to us. We lay aside our assumptions and prejudices for the sake of inviting others into our lives.
