Easter 2022 - The Risen Temple
We are all faced with some particularly bad news...the prospect of needing to be "good enough" and "clean enough" to enter into God's presence. The reality is that no amount of effort or self discipline will allow us to meet the standard of holiness...which is God, Himself. Thankfully, there is One who not only met the standard, but if we admit our sin, believe that He alone can save, and confess that He is Lord and Savior, then His clean, perfect record becomes ours. God not only welcomes us into eternal rest in Heaven, but comes and makes His home with us here and now...within our bodies, as a living temple. What an incredible mystery and gift this is. Hallelujah for the cross, and praise God for Easter morning!
