You are Not the Center

"

The disciples asked Jesus to teach them how to pray. Prayer is not natural for us. At least not real, biblical prayer. Complaints and wish lists and pouring our hearts out is natural, but is that all prayer is?God gave us not only instruction on how to pray, but even gave us an entire book of prayer in the Psalms. In this sermon, we look at Psalm 118 and 67 as they are in view of Palm Sunday; this important event helps reveal what the primary purpose, plan, and desire of God is. We are reminded that the Psalms teach us that God is at the center of His plan for salvation, not us (and that is good news!).
