A Church Built by Slaves
In this sermon, we get a background of the church at Philip by going into Acts 16, seeing how it was started. We get the picture, coupled with Paul's use of his "title" as "slave," that the Kingdom of God is expanded when the church is built by "slaves." In other words, Christians who see themselves as devoted and loyal servants of the most amazing, loving, and generous Master ever known. We are not our own, because we have been bought with a price, not of gold nor silver, but the precious blood of Christ.
