Abraham, Isaac, and Subtitutionary Atonement

"

Jesus explicitly told people that He is all over the Old Testament. The Gospel is not simply and only in the New Testament, but is weaved all throughout the Scriptures, revealing the character and plan of God and deepening our awe and wonder concerning His mercy and grace, as well as our need for redemption. In this sermon, Pastor Jobey shows us the larger redemptive narrative of the Gospel in the story of Abraham and Isaac, specifically how Isaac, a type of Israel/God's People is spared by a substitution, a ram offered up in his place in this sermon series, "Shadows and Substance: the Gospel in the Old Testament: Genesis Edition."
