In this sermon, Paul writes one of the most important verses in the whole bible for Christian living. It's a "mission statement" of sorts that dictates how he chooses to live and how he shapes his perspective. His aim is to treasure Christ above all things, and he knows that if he does that, it will actually make death even something that is desirable because it means MORE of what he loves now. How do we recognize what truly drives us? How do we recognize where our satisfaction truly is? And how do we change it so that our treasure really is Christ?
