CloseJames is often considered the "Proverbs of the New Testament." James wrote this letter primarily to Jewish converts to Christianity around 60 AD. They had been experiencing a lot of external trials and persecution, as well as internal temptation, and needed to be encouraged in their faith. James offers practical wisdom for the Christian life. In this sermon, James closes out his letter with exhortation about our speech, that it should be filled with integrity when we make commitments, faith when we pray, and grace when we pursue those who are wandering.
