Build Upon the Rock
"
In this parable, Jesus gives us a clear picture of what it looks like to build our lives on either rock or sand. Our lives constantly get battered with waves of trials and the foundation on which we build will be revealed. Building on our Rock, the Word of God made flesh, Jesus Christ, is a foundation that will never be shaken. When we build our lives on the redeeming work of Christ, we can stand on the Rock of His Salvation. That is secure.
