A Life of Gratitude

We need to rest in this truth. That Jesus has given His life for us. Our contentment is no longer circumstantial because Jesus is alive. No matter the season, our thankfulness should overflow from the generosity we have been shown.

God Wants More Than Your “Stuff”

God's desire is for our hearts, not just our stuff. He's not interested in our leftovers or second-best offerings. Instead, He wants us to give Him our all, cheerfully and generously. Far too often we cling to "our" time, money, possessions, comfort, convenience as though it is ours, and not given to us by our Father. And when He asks for us to give it back to him we say, "no, that's mine!" forgetting that it all comes from Him. He's asking us to be good stewards of His blessings and to offer them back to Him in worship and service. Let's respond to God's call by opening our hands and our hearts. As we give generously, we'll experience the joy of true discipleship and the abundant life that God promises.

Scripture References: Malachi 1:6-14
