Christ the True and Better

The whole purpose of the book of Hebrews is to reveal the glory of God through the person and work of Jesus Christ, our great High Priest. As we behold the glory of the radiance of the Son, we, too, will be transformed from one degree of glory to the next, until the day that we are with Him forever and ever. We begin this new sermon series with anticipation...that God will do a transforming work in each of us.

Loved In Christ

We live in a world that tells us love is earned. That our worth is measured by our work, our fear managed by control, our sin balanced by effort. It sounds right. It feels familiar. But it never brings rest. Hebrews reminds us, “Here we do not have a lasting city, but we seek the city that is to come.” In Jesus, our home is not built on performance. It’s built on grace. We are already loved in Christ. Fully. Securely. From that love, something beautiful grows. Praise becomes natural. Generosity flows freely. Good works aren’t a way to get God’s attention… they’re the fruit of hearts already held by Him.

Scripture References: Hebrews 13:14-16
