Countless times throughout Jesus' ministry (and before His ministry in the Old Testament), God's Word tells us to "fear not." We can starve our fear, specifically, because our King has come to bring peace, and He will come again in glory to establish His Kingdom and make all things new.
What you fear will be your god. If you fear financial instability, or loneliness, or a lack of success, those things will determine your behavior, your choices, and your worship. But we need not fear these things, because we have all we need in Jesus Christ, our King.
