Stewards of Grace

"

We live in a noisy world, with many different voices and enticements coming from every angle. At the head of the street Wisdom is crying out for us to run to her; to close our ears and turn our hearts away from the many distractions that would keep us trapped in self-centered pursuits. But will we return the call, seeking after Wisdom as silver or gold? In this sermon, we look at one topic that is one of the loudest voices in the noisy streets of today: money. As it distracts, makes empty promises, and tries to convince us of its satisfying power, will he heed the voice of true Wisdom at it calls out to us? What are ways we can learn to use money for God, rather than see it as god?
