Fuel for the Mission

"

Every turn of the calendar year we spend three weeks re-charting and re-setting our course. If we don't do this regularly, we drift and get off course in life. Last week we looked at the Vision, the big goal, that God has called His church to. In other words, "why" the church exists. In this sermon, we look at the Mission that God has for His people. In other words, "what" we are supposed to be doing in order to attain that vision. We've been called to go and make disciples, but how do we find the strength and ability to actually do that? It seems nearly impossible for us to be come faithful disciples ourselves, much less make disciples. Where do we get our fuel from, so that we don't run out of gas in the process?

Scripture References: John 15:4-9
